Every Vintage Tells Its Own Tale.
For more than forty years, our winemaker, Ron Giesbrecht, has pursued authenticity over uniformity. Rather than trying to recreate the same wine year after year, the Small Batch Series embraces the individuality of each vintage, allowing the vineyard, the weather, and the fruit to guide every decision.
These are wines made only once. Some may never return. Others may reappear in name, but never in exactly the same way. Every harvest offers an opportunity to uncover something unexpected—a curious exploration that becomes an anticipated joy.
Each bottle captures a story written by the vineyard: the character of the grapes, the conditions of the season, and the unique expression of place. We simply shepherd that story into the bottle.

‘Go with the flow’ mindset embraces fortunate flukes. Here, these two grape varieties were accidentally harvested together. Some things, when done, can’t be undone. Fortuitously, this wine is both tropically fruity and full. No oak and extended lees contact provide vibrancy with rich complexity.

The Sovereign Opal hybrid grape variety creates an aromatic, crisp, and fruity white wine. While not authorized for VQA production in Ontario, we couldn’t hide this variety. It needed to be shared with you, at least once.
