2021 Smith Vineyards Viognier – Award Winner

Award winner at the Wine Align National Wine Awards.

Made with mature Viognier vines from Rick Smith’s vineyard in Niagara Lakeshore, this wine beautifully reflects the stoney, loam soil that enhances the natural ‘peachy’ aromas of the grape. A supple ‘oily’ texture with balancing freshness is a unique Niagara terroir-take on this Rhone valley variety. 

A cool glass of this wine brings aromatic white peaches and tangerine peel, with subtle notes of honeysuckle on the nose, with subtle licks of vanilla on the mouth.
